Foster children and youth are often raised in a system that has failed them for decades, leading many into cycles of incarceration, homelessness, unemployment, and human trafficking once they age out. Each year, over 26,000 foster youth turn 18 or 21 and exit the foster care system. These young adults are frequently given a trash bag, a list of homeless shelters, and sent into the world with minimal support.

Has self-development content brought about the changes you were aiming for? If not, you’re in good company. Two-thirds of people who engage with self-development material express a desire for assistance in applying it to their lives. The issue isn’t the quality of the advice; it’s that simply absorbing information isn’t sufficient. We need to actively implement the advice to see real results.

started as a collective of many different projects and programs dedicated to the elimination of child abuse. In May 2018, our founder, Jeff Anderson, envisioned a single organization that could combine and maximize their efforts and take a holistic approach to combatting child abuse.
The original collective of varied projects and programs quickly evolved, and CEO, Jeffery Dion, was brought on board to lead the growing organization. Jeffrey has often described the many different programs, perspectives, ideas, protocols, and experts under the Zero Abuse Project roof as stars he is arranging into a constellation.
In January 2019, the National Child Protection Training Center and Jacob Wetterling Resource Center joined the Zero Abuse Project family and completed the constellation as we see it today.

provides students with educational options and mentorship to guide them through their journey. Our dedicated teachers take the time to understand each student and customize their education to meet individual needs. This approach, which emphasizes personalized learning, flexibility, one-on-one attention, and workforce readiness programs, has proven successful. We strive to eliminate any barriers to obtaining a high school diploma and achieving life success. Beyond just a diploma, we equip students with career and life skills, preparing them with the courage and confidence needed for life after high school.

amplifies and supports the worldwide positive and adverse childhood experiences (PACEs) movement by sharing its stories, solutions, and science, growing healing communities, and valuing equity and diversity.
We support the ever-expanding PACEs movement by educating people about PACEs science. We engage them in the movement by increasing the number of people who join PACEs Connection. We help communities launch and grow PACEs initiatives, online and in person, and provide tools to help them measure their progress. We act as the information resource for the PACEs movement by telling its stories and providing resources.
